In 1980, the first Elephant Bar Restaurant opened to the delight of David Nancarrow, and his son Chris. The idea was simple; provide a comfortable and unique place to escape from the stress of everyday life, to relax and enjoy a fun, casual dining experience.

Elephant Bar Restaurants are also located in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, and Oklahoma. The upscale restaurants are decorated around an African safari theme, with wildlife motifs including zebra-striped ceilings and leopard-print carpets.
